Die religiöse Tradition des Pancaratra und die philosophische Schule des Visistadvaita-Vedanta haben wesentlich bei der Ausformung der heute in Südindien lebendigen Tradition der Srivaisnavas mitgewirkt, sich aber auch gegenseitig in vielen Aspekten beeinflußt.
