Three new research groups are starting their work in small, Austria-wide networked teams. At the most recent FWF Scientific Board meeting, these proposals stood out based on their outstanding quality. The total approved funding volume amounts to €4.4 million.

The funded consortia now have the opportunity to pool their expertise, focus on a research question across multiple sites, and pursue inter- or multidisciplinary approaches. The three new Research Groups are coordinated by researchers from the University of Graz, Graz University of Technology, and the University of Innsbruck. Researchers from the University of Vienna are also involved.
