Study Commissioned: FWF Survey

In December 2024, the FWF invited bids for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a survey on the FWF and on research in Austria. Five bids were submitted. Following the FWF’s assessment of the contents and associated costs, the Linz-based agency Spectra Marktforschungsgesellschaft mbH was awarded the contract.

In December 2024, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) invited bids for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a survey on the FWF and research in Austria. Five bids for the contract were submitted to the FWF. Following an assessment of the offers, the Linz-based agency Spectra Marktforschungsgesellschaft mbH was awarded the contract, worth €19,800 (net). The final results are expected to be published in the third quarter of 2025.

The bidding process was carried out pursuant to the (i) FWF rules on the quality and transparency of evaluations, studies, and research policy services and the (ii) evaluation guidelines of the Austrian Platform for Research and Technology Policy Evaluation (fteval).
