FWF Workshop “Science Communication Program”

Helping people understand and experience science, and more importantly, inspiring the next generation to get involved – these are the goals of science communication. The FWF’s Science Communication funding program helps researchers develop and implement new, creative communication measures to further strengthen the dialog between science and society. 

The FWF is offering a half-day workshop on April 8, 2024, to support researchers who will be submitting a Science Communication funding application in the current call for proposals.  The workshop will be taught by science communication expert Barbara Streicher and FWF program manager Gerit Oberraufner. It will include an overview of the Science Communication program and more detailed information on the current call for proposals.
