In the research team of Assoc. Prof. Mario Mikula a Post Doc position is offered.
The work topic is: "Generation of skin organoids for analysis of melanocyte development".
Embryonic developmental programs have the potential to influence melanoma formation and metastasis. To strengthen our efforts in elucidating factors controlling melanocytic differentiation from human pluripotent stem cells we seek for a motivated and highly trained Post Doc.
Work objectives are:
(a) generation of an organoid model for melanocyte development based on human ES and iPS cells
(b) genetic engineering of stem cells for conditional gene activation and inactivation by CRISP/Cas9
(c) single cell analysis of generated organoids by histology, FACS, confocal immunofluorescence and RNA sequencing methods including bioinformatics.
Requirements for the position are: experience and knowledge in the above mentioned fields.

Duration: 2 years with the possibility of extension
Salary: a minimum of EUR3.804/month with 14 salaries/year
