Research Assistant Position
- Molecular Immunology / Cell Biology
- Medical University of Vienna
A FWF-funded research assistant position is available immediately to study molecular mechanisms during T cell development. Projects are designed to address important questions on how protein trafficking and signaling events play together during different cellular processes. Approaches include a combination of molecular and cellular immunological experiments, molecular biology and biochemical/proteomics approaches.
The successful candidate will be embedded in the highly multidisciplinary and collaborative environments at the Center for Pathophysiology, Infectiology and Immunology.
Applicants should hold a master's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline and have documented experience in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture methods. Previous experience with cloning, transfection, immunoblot assays, immunocytochemistry and/or flow cytometry are advantageous.
Graduates interested in immunology, cell and molecular biology are especially invited to apply. The possibility to switch to a PhD student position exists.
Please send a CV and brief summary of previous research interests and experience to the address below. Informal enquiries are welcome.
